At the very northwestern tip of San Francisco, these rocks, which have long been known as the home of seals, have stood guardian to San Francisco Bay. This bit of land, sea, and rock, also referred to as "Land's End" can be observed from the area often referred to as the site of the once magnificent Sutro Baths, just a bit north of the Cliff House. The rocks in the water are known as Seal Rocks.

Interesting fact: The first date for Leonard and Susan was a picnic in the trees overlooking Seal Rocks. Their wedding took place across the street at Sutro Heights Park, so this area has very special meaning to them.

The original is sold and in a private collection. This image is available as an open edition print on FineArtAmerica.com, with a number of other San Francisco images by Leonard.
