NEW BOOK PROJECTS

Almost Invisible

TeaParty

Over fifteen years ago, before RIP SQUEAK®, Leonard and Susan began working on a project based on some very small creatures they had named PIXQUIKS. The book has gone through a number of evolutions and the final draft of a fantasy novel for Young Adults is now completed and waiting for a publisher. Leonard is currently working on a number of new illustrations, mainly black and white, for this book.

Story Summary:
Cleo and Ramses get shuffled off to their grandfather’s house when their single mom is shipped off to a war zone. They not only find their grandfather’s home most unusual, they discover other residents there, some that Grandpa didn’t even know about. Soon after they meet these secret residents, they become enmeshed in an adventure that takes them far from home and, if their plan succeeds, they just might save more than the human race!

Animals: An Alphabet Book

Leonard recently completed all the illustrations for a book idea that was started years ago. The text is written, and the book is ready to be published.

Story Summary
A lovely and sweet story about a young, feisty girl with a very ill mother. Out of pure love and a sincere belief in magic, she sets off on a secret quest to save her mom by locating the woodland fairy that once saved her grandmother years before. Her search takes her from California to the home of some rather unique and interesting relatives in England, and with the aid of a doubtful cousin and a rather quirky museum curator, she adventures into an enchanted world.
